PFA closure — get rid of taxes and obligations
If you no longer use your PFA, ANAF (the tax authority) still expects declarations. We close everything properly: Trade Register, final declarations, fiscal vector. You send the data, we handle the paperwork.
- Deregistration with the competent Trade Register
- Final declarations with ANAF (tax authority)
- Closing the fiscal vector
- Written confirmation that your PFA is closed
An unused PFA costs you money and time
Many people think that if they stop invoicing, the PFA "dies on its own". It doesn't. As long as it's active, ANAF (the tax authority) expects declarations, and the competent Trade Register still considers you in activity. Result: fines, penalties and obligations that pile up month after month.
Official closure fixes all this in a single file. We remove you from the records, file the final declarations and you receive the deregistration certificate.

Need other changes too?
Bundle other PFA changes — you pay only once, for the most expensive one.
Clear signs it's time to close the PFA
If the break is only temporary, it's wiser to go for PFA suspension.

Duration
On average 1–2 weeks for the Trade Register deregistration. Final ANAF (tax) declarations are filed within the legal deadlines, depending on the date of deregistration. If you have debts or unfinished files, the timeline can grow.
Costs
The cost depends on complexity: a PFA without debts vs a PFA with overdue declarations. We give you a firm price, no surprises, after a short check of your situation.
Official Trade Register fees are billed separately and paid at filing.
What you still have to pay at closure
Final Unique Declaration: filed for income earned up to the deregistration date. Here the 10% income tax and, where applicable, contributions are calculated.
CAS and CASS: due only if income exceeds the annual thresholds. If you invoiced little or nothing, you may have nothing extra to pay.
VAT (if applicable): we file the final VAT return and the request to remove you from the VAT register.
Outstanding debts: remain to be paid by you as an individual, even after the PFA is closed. That's why it's good to settle them before or in parallel.
Common mistakes at closure
"I don't invoice anymore, so it's closed"
False. If the PFA is still active, you still have declaration obligations.
Forgetting the final Unique Declaration
Its absence brings fines and blocks full removal from the records.
Not closing the fiscal vector
You stay on the hook for VAT, CAS, CASS, even if the Trade Register deregistered you.
Leaving debts in place
After deregistration, ANAF (the tax authority) moves them onto the individual. You still pay.
Missing deadlines
Final declarations have short deadlines. Delay = penalties.
Doing the process only partially
Trade Register without ANAF (tax authority) = incomplete closure. You need both.
Short, clear answers
On average 1–2 weeks at the Trade Register. Final ANAF (tax) declarations are filed within the legal deadlines after deregistration.
